We are a family friendly church so we are committed to making our church a place where all are welcome. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you and your family while you are at our church.
Please do not feel that you have to keep your children quiet during our worship. As you will probably find, our morning services are lively and interactive. Occasionally we have all-age worship, during which the crèche and Junior Church stay with the adults for the whole service and worship is particularly designed to be enjoyed by children of all ages!
If you come with a young baby, we hope that you feel comfortable if you need to breastfeed them during the service. Baby changing facilities are available.
As you would expect, all those who work with children and young people in our Junior Church are DBS checked and we work within strict safeguarding guidelines.
Crèche . We offer a crèche facility for parents with babies and toddlers aged 0-3 years. The service is relayed to the creche room so no need to miss the service. Crèche has a wide range of age-appropriate toys for your children to play with.
Alternatively, we are very happy for you to keep your babies and children with you for the whole service, so please do not feel that you have to use our crèche facilities if you prefer not to.
Junior Church meets every Sunday at 9:45 am at the same time as the morning service. We usually stay in church for the first part of the service and then we split into groups:
Sparks
is for 3-7 year olds. We have lots of fun every week making crafts, playing games, singing songs and learning about the Bible with the help of our mascot Sparky.
Flames is for 7-11 year olds. We have fun learning about Jesus and the Bible through games, dance, drama, craft, songs and discussion.
Fires is for 11-17 year olds. We have games, discussion groups and the opportunity to ask questions and develop a personal relationship with Jesus. We also encourage our group to participate in church life, in the worship group, sound and PA, welcome and helping with refreshments.
